Our first new product of the decade! The Absolute Tower is a new sleek and affordable floor-standing speaker for high-performance music or home theater systems. The design joins together the Absolute Zero bookshelf mini-speaker with 2 newly designed 5.25" woofers (in a separate chamber) in a slender column-like enclosure.

Each gloss-black or white cabinet features a ten-coat paint process hand applied and finished.
Each cabinet has extensive bracing and a Variable Radius around the mid and tweeters which randomizes diffraction for a smooth off-axis response whilst reducing vibration to minuscule levels.

The Absolute Tower loudspeaker is an all-acoustic suspension design. Acoustic suspension designs utilize nature's perfect spring force - air, to damp and control the speaker motion like high performance 'shocks' on a sports car. This significantly lowers distortion for long, fatigue-free listening and improves impulse response allowing subtle detail to be revealed, making everything sound more real. Acoustic suspension designs also allow incredible power handling. 

The Absolute Tower's floor standing cabinets are beautiful, delicate, yet incredibly robust due to extensive bracing, thus ensuring unwanted cabinet vibrations are never added to your music. They weigh in at over 35 lbs. each and are constructed from medium density fiberboard. The gently sculpted base puts the Absolute Tower on stable footing and is weighted with a hidden steel plate to provide mass where it is acoustically desirable - further reducing cabinet-born resonances. 

The Absolute Towers, like all NHT Classic Series loudspeakers, are finished with 2 primer coats, 7 color coats of polyester paint, and topped with 2 coats of clear acrylic polymer. This piano-gloss black finish is an NHT hallmark.
