A Complete system built into a pair of speakers

The AktiMate Maxi is packed full of features and can be best described as a complete home entertainment system as it can act as a source, amplifier and speakers. It has Internet radio, FM Radio, an iPodŽ dock or Stream music directly from your Mac/PC, connect it to Sonos or Airport express, add your TV, DVD,....

It has been more than 15 months in development and continues to utilise technology licensed from Creek and Epos. The built-in amplifier in this exciting new model has an output of 60 Watts per channel.  The tweeter remains the same as that in the Mini, however the bass driver is now 165 mm.

The tweeters are offset to provide greater separation and to accommodate the display in the active speaker. Control is provided by use of the remote handset or from the knob on the front of the active speaker.
