Our new look site is launched. Very subtle changes, mostly from a black background to white. We have also reduced the number of product categories to simplify navigation.
We have a new product, the Metrum Octave DAC which is in our Best category. This product from Holland has received numerous awards and is different from the competition in that it uses high speed digital convertors and is non oversampling. September 2011: The fabulous Hegel H100 receives the Editors Choice award for 2011 from hi-end magazine, The Absolute Sound.
August 2011: New Halide HD dac on a wire is soon to be launched, expected price is £399. This is an HD 24/96 USB dac designed on its cable. Halide are using a WireWorld USB cable to ensure high quality is maintained, meaning there is no need to budget for digital cables. It remains the easiest dac to connect and it is impossible to install incorrectly. A perfect way to listen to high quality music files through an amplifier without a digital input. The Halide Bridge will continue to be supplied should you have a good quality dac without a high quality usb input.

May2011: A brief note explaining the design and development of high performance loudspeakers. There are a lot of loudspeaker manufacturers but only a few of them are capable of designing and manufacturing a loudspeaker from scratch including the drive-unit itself. May 2011: New Amarra 2.2 released, free download for exisiting Amarra customers. Amarra no longer needs iLok to operate and a new 15 day trial player is available for any Mac user using iTunes. Amarra Junior is now 96Hhz capable, whilst Mini can play up to 192Khz and Amarra, an incredible 384Khz.
Feb 2011: New Bel Canto C5i digital integrated amplifier is launched. It replaces the S300iu and for the same money it features 4 digital inputs, 2 analogue inputs (including a turntable MM phono stage and a line input) and a headphone output. It is an improvement upon the 300iu and can be describes as a DAC2.5 (digital pre-amp) and S125 (power amplifier) on one chassis.
